THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR TRIP

You have exclusive use of all facilities inside and outside.

Q. What are the check-in and Checkout Times?

Check-in is from 3 pm. Please try to arrive during daylight as it is easier to settle in and find your way around.

Check out is before 10:30 am. Unless you have a Sunday checkout, you can stay until 3 pm.

Q. Where do we park our car? Cars can be parked in the parking area by the path to La Tiny House or in the village square.

Q. Can we bring children? No, we are adults only.

Q. Can we bring our pets? No, we do not allow pets.

Q. What is the length of stay? Minimum two-night stays to whole-week stays. Short breaks are available throughout our season.

Q. We will arrive late. If you're delayed, please call so we can plan.

Q. Is there electricity in the La Tiny House? Our accommodation has sockets, electric lighting, and USB charging points.

Q. Is there a TV? No. You are welcome to bring your own streaming devices, but we kindly ask that you be considerate and keep the volume reasonable.

Q. Do you have a mobile signal and WiFi Internet access? WiFi is free across the site. The mobile signal is patchy, and TIM works best.

Q. Is the water drinkable? Water is safe to drink. There is hot and cold water.

Q. Is there heating and Air Conditioning in La Tiny House? Yes. Our accommodation features a wood-burning stove and air conditioning for the summer months. We supply kindling and firewood for the wood burner.

Q. Is there a shower and toilet inside? Our accommodation has a full en-suite shower room with a flushing toilet, hand basin, shower, fluffy towels and complimentary organic toiletries.

Q. Do you provide bedding and towels? Yes. We supply all bedding, hand towels, and bath towels for your stay. The beds are made up and ready upon your arrival.

Q. Do you provide toiletries? Yes. We provide Body Wash, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner, soap and toilet paper.

Q. What cooking facilities are inside? The fitted kitchen has a 2-ring gas hob, a microwave oven, and a small sink.

Q. Do you allow smoking? No Smoking is NOT permitted inside. Outside smoking is permitted as long as cigarette butts are disposed of safely and tidily.

Q. Do we need to bring cooking utensils? No. Everything required for a self-catering stay is provided. Pots and pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery and condiments.

Q. Is the Outdoor shower and Bath tub private? Yes. Built in a secluded and screened position beside your accommodation.

Q. Is there a campfire? Yes. The fire pit has rustic seating and benches.

Q. Is firewood provided? Yes. We provide kindling and firewood.

Q. Can we purchase food on-site? No.

Q. Do you provide a welcome hamper? No.

Q. Where is the nearest restaurant? There is a good selection of restaurants and pizzerias in our local towns.

Q. Where is the nearest Town? The closest Town, Villafranca, is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a range of amenities including good restaurants, supermarkets, bars, shops, banks, and 24-hour fuel.

Q. Are there local markets for fresh produce? A thriving market visits Bagnone on Mondays, Pontremoli on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and Villafranca on Fridays, mainly featuring food stalls with a good selection of excellent, locally produced fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, and salami.

Q. How easily accessible is the La Tiny House? Glamping is about getting into nature. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible due to the shallow steps. The field is reasonably level and relatively dry. During wet weather, strong footwear is recommended, as well as slippers for indoors.

Q. Do you have staff on-site? Yes. We are on hand to ensure that you stay with us is a great success. If we are away for any reason, we have other staff available.

Q. Are friends and family allowed to visit during our stay? Yes, but numbers will be limited only by prior arrangement. Guests are only permitted to visit during the day and are not allowed to stay overnight.

Q Do you accept group bookings? Yes. Groups may book Villa Ariola and our Tiny House and use the facilities provided with both properties.

Q. Do we have to clean before we leave? We kindly ask that you wash up and dispose of your waste in the designated recycling bins. Also, the sink and fridge are left empty and clean. Finally, all equipment is returned to its correct place.

Q. Do you recommend we bring any extras? We recommend bringing food and any special items that enhance your experience.

Clothes – It's a good idea to bring layers for colder evenings, sturdy footwear for country walks, and slippers for use inside your accommodation.
